Tank Farm Status

  • 11 tanks secure
  • 1 tank with naphtha scheduled to be pumped out on 4/9/2019
  • Tanks 80-13, 80-14 and 80-15 are being degassed, which removes vapors from the tank so cleaning can occur
  • Cleaning secured tanks 80-2 and 80-3 on 4/9/2019
  • 3 tanks with base oil (low risk) targeted for future removal
  • Tank Farm operations are suspended due to the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office (HCFMO) being onsite; will resume later today after HCFM leaves

Water Response

  • 153,400 feet (close to 30 miles) boom deployed
  • 118, 486 barrels (more than 4.9 million gallons) product recovered from water
